Engine Torque Brace

I had one on my RX-7 and it improved throttle response a noticeable amount while adding a bit of bling to the engine bay(it's the immeasurabele benefits that count)

To anyone that is familiar with these and how they mount, would the mounting points line up on the RX-8? I would imagine it would, but just wanted to see if anyone had any experience. I searched but all I could bring up were strut tower braces so I apologize if this has been discussed before.

Yes, but they don't offer a specific kit for RX-8.

A torque brace for a car that has no torque?

A gut less wonder that needs addtional weight added to the front.

I wonder if it would help in auto cross?

No different than the many cold air intake threads, pulley threads, grounding kit threads, etc.

It might take some of the slop out of the motor mounts. It sure is cheap enough.
You would have to fab your own mounting system, though.

I guess I'll buy one for the "bling" factor and see what happens.

Just wondering. Like I said, I had one on my FC and it improved throttle response and made driving smoother. Was it because my motormounts were going out, or was it the magic goblins living inside, who knows? But it made a difference. So please elaborate on your as well as send another to racing beat seeing as how that's who I ordered mine from for my RX-7.
