engine almost stalled again

this afternoon around 4, i left my car to the dealership to let them fix my door cuz since last time my car got broken into, it has been having some wired noise when closing the door. It took 2 hours to let them figure out whats going on(thats damn long), and another 30 minutes to get it done. when they started my car, the car who was fixing my car, pushed the gas pedal very hard twice(i know for sure it has been over 3.5k rpm) when the coolant was still cold. the car was fine in the beginning, but when i stopped at the second traffic lights, it had a jerk and suddenly the rpm dropped down to 500, it was gonna stall but it didnt, then it was just back to normal again; for the next several stop, nothing had happened and the car ran normally. Can anyone tell me what was it or what was it about?

forgot to mention, my car had stalling problem before because of the ignition coil and throttle body got K&N oil. but it was fixed and the car had been running pretty well. but when it was at idle, it sometimes vibrates hard when the rpm was reaching close to 700rpm. however, most of time the rpm needle stays between 1000 and 700; i switched the intake from SR to stock with K&N filter. the car is 04 and has 45k km(about 3xk miles)

It should be fine, if its not good the ECU will not let you rev.

Sometimes, Im saying rarely my engine's RPM will drop down to low 700-600 too.in the Recall service pdf, it saids that if it drops below 700 rpm they have to replace the engine (see the recall pdf), but I dont really want them to replace my engine. I have a feeling that my engine, even if it has a problem, are still better than prisoner's made Mazda reman ... so

yeah, i read it before, but they said the rpm should stay at 1000 after the recall right? and last time when i picked up my car from mazda for the stalling problem, the rpm was between 1000 and 700 but they didnt say anything about it; and they said they had flushed my pcm several times........

Nah, Idle should be around 810 rpm +/- the 50 rpm range.

Most dealerships (including Great Neck Mazda, the place who did my recall), did NOT road test the cars. They just flash it and say it pass the test.

Even if my engine fail the test, I dont want them to replace my engine, I dont really trust dealerships. most of them are run by morons.

My engine rocks, no CEL for I think 10 K miles already, last was the SSV not opening smoothly, a couple tank of hard run solve the problem. Love it
