I believe it's Denso, although there are different divisions. Try starting with http://www.globaldenso.com/en/. Keep in mind, they may outsource some of the parts.

I understand going with a plug-in extension, although why not just extend the harness with the length of wire you need and solder it? Easy, cheap and fast, unless your are planning to sell completed units...

 

That's worth a try.

Depending on where you plan to relocate it and how much patience you have, open up the harness and seperate those wires from the main part of the loom. Grab a razor blade, some electrical tape and your favorite beverage and have a go at it.


When I rerouted some wires for the v-mount I was able to clean up the mess of wires above the oem radiator. I opened up a good portion of the wire loom and was suprised on the length of some of the wires, particularly the wires for the MAF, I could pretty much locate that anywhere in the engine bay.


The whole process is actually really easy, just time consuming. To give you an idea of what you'll run into after the wires are exposed:


You'll find that when they wired everything up at the factory, somebody had a whip:


So, you'll need to untangle their rat's nest and to do that, I used this little gem:


By placing it in these slots:


Then, lightly pry up the the white cover:


It will pop up half way like this:


By pushing the pick all the way down it will release the cover:


Gently push under the connector and pry a small black tab:


The connector will slide right out:


Now it's time to reroute whatever wires where woven (holy F'n W) in the mess you uncovered:


Finally, something you can work with and comes out to be around 28" in length:
