I have recently purchased a JDM `04 RX8 (4-PORT)

I have replaced ignition coils and plugs.

I have done this after disconnecting the battery negative terminal (I know it is not required, but I have done it for extra safety).

After reconnecting battery I have also recalibrated DSC.

The card started normally, however it kept stalling and idle was wierd. This occured for the first 2/3km and afterwards it started to idle better.

Is this something normal? Can anyone please explain? ... I thought it was due to the PCM to relearn... however I still find it hard to beleive that PCM doesn`t have base maps for reference in order to operate correctly when in open loop!!

Any insights would be appreciated!
