Driving issues

My rx8 is over reving it takes me like 45secs to shift and get into gear when I first get into gear and shift i usually rev it to about 3000rpms and then let off the clutch and I'm good but now I rev to the same and then I need to give it A LOT!!! More gas and then I take off slowly and then I start to smell the clutch and the check engine light came on about a week ago and about a month ago i was doing like 135mph and the check engine light started blinkingand now this reving problem and I need to know how bad of a situation I'm in. I don't have a lot of knowledge messing with Manual cars as in working on them I can drive it pretty good so I just really need to know who I need to pay any help would be very appreciated ill post a video if need be thank you

...I just really need to know who I need to pay...
If you want to pay someone to diagnose and fix this, take it to a Mazda dealer.

If it takes you that long to get into gear and you can smell the clutch burning, odds are you need a new clutch. You probably have ignition problems, too. The dealer can fix you up with new plugs, coils and wires while they're replacing the clutch.

You are largely destroying your car from negligence and abuse.

Blinking CEL = misfire from not paying attention to your ignition health
Clutch smell = destroying your clutch from abuse
135mph = stupid

So far he probably just needs a clutch and ingnition parts. Cat's probably not yet trashed if he can get up to 135.

I'd enjoy seeing the video...but only if the 135 mph part has already been shot. Definitely don't do that again, other than on a track and after everything is fixed.

Post the codes, too.
