Hey guys, i am building a project car and i came across the idea of using a rx8 driveshaft because of being carbon fiber... I need to know the lenght of the manual carbon one so i figured maybe someone here could help me out and give me the length of it in inches from center of u-joint hole to center of u-joint hole. Thanks!

 

can someone do me a favor and measure theirs next time they are under their car?

 

really?? no one? okay well looks like i might have to try and find a rx8 in a parking lot and crawl under it... haha jk jk. but i would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

Sorry, but I don't think that RX-8 owners compare the lengths of their shafts that often. We're the kind of people who know it's not the length of your drive shaft, but how you use it.

 

I got a measurement of 42.25" from center of u-joint hole to center of u-joint hole. Sounds about right but if anyone would like to confirm that would be great.
