drivers side rattling!!!!

Ok so I have been noticing a rattling coming from what sounds like the drivers side wheelwell, took a quick look and everything seems to be tight, dont feel any thing loose, I can really here it when I hit bumps. Can it be the shock is dead. I have an 04 rx8 with 113,000 miles, only thing I have replaced so far has been fuel pump which went out at 110,000. And if also someone could give me tips on what I should of replaced at the 100,0000 marker. That would be great!!!

I once left a tool in under the hood that made rattle that baffled me. FYI the fuel pump is supposed to be changed at 100,000 so you got an extra 10,000 miles You might like THIS thread also.

Did you unload the links and check for play..they should be tight with no play...if the boots are shot..the link is likely shot too...

They can be surprisingly noisy....

easy way to check is to disconnect one side and then drive it..if the noise is gone you will know that was your problem..........

ok so i completely disabled the the endlinks and sway bar, took it out on the high way and had same result, but i did notice something, no matter what speed im going as soon as I tap the the brakes even the slightest, it goes away. Im thinking it has something to do with the caliper on the drivers side, kinda sounds like the brake pad is isnt secure
