I'n not very familiar with the rotary ever since i sold my rx7 in 1993, i kind of lost track on the motor.. I would like to know if the rotary motor has a timeing chain or belt ? Only ask cause someone told me that at 80 k miles you got to change it... Is that true

Timing belt = used on cars with valves and camshafts

Rotary = no valves, no camshaft

rotary = no timing belt

seriously lol... well because you know its very important that you time the firing sequence of a rotary engine to the piston passing the 90 degree mark...
