if you're just talking about CEL. then nope. it wont

if you'r talking about pulling battery or pulling "Room" fuse, then yes.

It will only reset the fuel trim temporarily. The ECU will relearn and you will be back where you started.

Is this why the car will die everytime I come to a stop sign or am coasting for the first 30 minute after I put the battery back in the car? Or is that another problem?

Yes, you are correct.

Usually you can drive around the block two or three times. Shut it off each time and by the third time the ECU should be re-programed to idle.

That means either your Throttle body has a problem and/or your Engine has a problem.

IT has NOTHING to do with ECU resetting, shutting down at stop sign is NOT the way its supposed to be.

I've been there. End up BOTH had a problem, Replaced under warranty
