The dealer today checked my diff fluid. When I asked if there were any metal fillings on the magplug they said no. So believing only the drain plug has a magnet I asked if that meant they changed the fluid in the process. They said no. They check by fill plug and said it was also magnetic.

Is my dealer telling me a tall tale?

When I changed my diff fluid there were no metal fillings on the fill plug, the drain plug was a different story...

I'm sure the sheriff will be here soon to move this thread..
