Yo all ! Im in need of help, got a rx-8 2006 MT put a few mods on it like a cold air / cat back / pulleys. I decided to do a body kit so I backed it in garage lol noticed gas was on empty and I mean on the line . so it been in there for ohh 1 1/2 months . In that time I started it up moved it like 15 feet turned it off then maybe 1 hr. later moved it back into the garage like alot, right before I got done I moved it again when it started it sounded differant like ruff I still pulled it out and then when I was done sanding backed it up back into the garage. To let ya know befor this the car ran sweet with all bolt ons, So the cars done I start it up boggie to the gas staition cause I know there no gas, idles good sounds a little strange non the less I get to the stop sign I always just throw it it nutral and stop kinda fast well the dam car dies, so I start it up take off thinking **** Im going to run out of gas so I get to stop light car wants to die so I give it gas it keep it going. I get threw that light and got about a 5 block run to gas staion I get it into 4th gear cruising it and it start to hesitates so I give it gas runs good as soon as I cruise it again it does it again so I give it gas make it to gas station slap 20 in and take off back Home **** does all that again HELP ! changed spark plugs still does it what ya all think ? sorry I made it long just wanted ya to know whats up and Help a poor brother out LMAO brain buster Oh no engine lite either Im triping out

drive the **** out of it for a good 20 or 30 mins maybe that will help..if not post if it helped or got worse or same

What Rx8urz said - go for a good drive and tell us if it gets better/worse.

Does sound like fuel starvation, might have some crap in the tank from old gas.....

yeah if you were that low on fuel you prob sucked up some dirt etc take it out an slowly work your way up to WOT and run it at 9k for a few seconds then shift and do the same thing and report back

well guys I did all that even changed spark plugs/wires still there push in cluch when cruise 20 mph or better and rpm drop till it dies lmao. Ohh melted my paint around gready pipes ( they must of got hot lol vailside kit lmao . tell ya what I never R it out like that before dam these cars kick *** my buddy was like dude it sounds like a jet I started to laugh but inside was like dam it fix your self. you should be able to push cluch in and coast right with out it dieing right? I found out if I down shift when coming to a stop like keeping it under 2k it will not die when I finaly push in cluch to stop still trying wont give up!

put some premix in and see if it helps.

if premix in and no more dying, your engine has a problem and go have compression test.

if its still like that, its something else.
