Defi Gauges, Where do you route the sensors ?

Just like the topic saids.

I just installed the Defi Control Unit (Thx StealthTL!)

Now Im trying to find a *path* where I can squeeze 3 sensor wires thru the firewall without drilling a hole thru it ...

For Water Temp, Oil Temp, and Oil Press.

I have all the wires and oil filter block, just cant find any clear path

Can Anybody guide me to the light ?

Just follow the heater/a.c. hoses, dig a screwdriver thru the big rubber grommet.

....much easier from the engine side, easier still if you pull the washer bottle out.

I found a rubber plug in the firewall, used a hot soldering iron and burned a hole thru it, ran the wires right thru that

Do you have a picture of the location ?

Im thinking my sensor will go 2 ways. Left side for Oil Press and Oil Temp, Right side for Water temp.

With my install, we ran all wires through a hole we drilled behind the windshield washer fluid resevoir. We placed a rubber grommet on the hole and its super stealth.

I route them thru the Hood release cable hole. No drilling needed.

but it was a *BITCH* get the the last cable into the hole cuz with 3 already in place (the hood cable and 2 sensor cables), the hole was kinda tight. :P

I just got the Oil Temp and Oil Press running, will finish the water part later the weekend.

forgot to post pics.

Oil Temp and Oil Press shown, Water temp coming soon (as soon as I get my new PUMP from Paul @ Mazmart )

The install looks kinda whack, I just use Epoxy to glue them on the dash. I will fix it up later.
