dealer said it's fine...i say it's not

hmm..been having long time problems now...with hard starting and rough idle, went to dealer and got a new starter which made starting....beautiful =)....but...after they checked the car they still said there was nothing wrong besides the starter.....but it still rough idles.....i have read somewhere that it might be the intake to be causing it to rough idle...something about a mesh on the sensor or something....im not realli sure...i have the K&N ver 1 intake....could anybody help on this here? thanks =)

K&N version 1 will screw ur idle up.

So Just change it back to stock.

it's all about how the MAF reads. the screen provides a more even distribution over the sensor. the stock air box uses 2. not to sure about the K&N version. try cleaning out the intake filter and using some electronics parts cleaner on the MAF. if that fails, look into getting another intake system.
