Bump, my IAT's are with 5F of ambient temps on average. Hate it or love it, my IAT's are way down. It was a little scary during this last bout of rain, I had to be very careful. You texas boys are overcomplicating the problem: the simple solution is to move to Michigan. I was showing 42 deg F IAT this morning.

if I were u I will just go back to original flapper door VFAD tube. its designed to work at different engine load/speed/air velocity

All I know is my IAT's have not been this close to ambient temps before. Take it or leave it. Sure beats spending $300.00 + and getting a wet filter
