Concerned..

when i started my car this morning after work i heard a small ticking noise. I drove it home just fine and let it sit. I re-started it again the small ticking noise was gone but now the idle sounds unusual. I took two videos one from the engine and one from the exhaust to show others the noises i'm hearing. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what it could be.

i dunno lol i zoomed in on the pulleys to show that i didn't think the problem is the pulleys, the intake was quiet so i have no clue. it's hard to hear in the engine pic but you can hear it on the exhaust.

My AEM CAI Intake makes a noise like that also I have shown it to a few forum members and they told me it was normal..... I don't remember the tech aspect of it but Dan told me I just was more interested in his car...

could it be the intake with the way it's idling? Is the exhaust link working?

Sounds like my old AT 8. I think you need new spark plugs and a oil change. The last video you posted sounds like the exhaust is poping. Just might be the exhaust. I would have your coils spark plugs and oil changed. I would also premix. As soon as I did all of what I have listed. It went away. This is my second WB 8 and I have been premixing right when I got her. Not one prob

I get clicking on start up occassionally, particularly when it is cold out, and I find that a bottle of Lucas injector cleaner and a long run on the highway with an oil change will take care of it for thousands of miles. I think that it comes from a build up of carbon in the housing. Just an opinion.

Is that clicking RPM dependant because my clicking is? Sounds like a metal on metal rubbing to me.

i definately need an oil change. the spark plugs and plug wires i can't afford. I plan to get an oil change this week. as for premixing flashwing suggested idemitsu (sp?) but $65 w/ shipping seems to expensive for me. Does anyone have any other brands that may be a bit cheaper?
