when i drive in first gear about to switch to second gear i heard something popped under the hood and all of a sudden my my gear wont switch anymore. my clutch pedal felt like it was loose... what could the problem be??

 

I'm not the most knowledgable car person, but I'm guessing your broke your clutch cable...

 

is it only from 1st to second? more details please

 

the car can start but my my gear wont shift... seems like all my gear are locked...

 

when i start in first gear the car would move and die just like how someone doesnt know how to drive a manual car... im thinkin it could be the clutch hose also... it couldnt be worn out clutches could it???

 

i need some details b4 i bring it to the dealership and you know the dealership gonna bring up a buntch of bs of whats wrong with it and then try to charge you up the aasss

 

No clutch cable in the RX-8 , it's a hydraulic clutch.
