Cleaned REVI Filter, Now CEL?
So last weekend it was time for my overdue once a year cleaning of the K&N filter in my REVI intake. The work itself didn't take long, it was more time consuming for the cleaning and sraying/drying of the filter.
ANYWAY......take the car out for a short drive and it seemed to be a little rough on the idle. On the way back CEL comes on as soon as I start it up. Hmmmm.
Take it over to the dealer, they pulled the codes while I'm in line, it pulls a lean code and the tech thinks its MAF related. They do a quick clearing of the code and I'm on my way. Doesn't come on for the rest of the trip to work. I go out at lunch its on again.
My initial reaction is that it definitely MAF related but a quick look over over the engine compartment looks like everything is plugged in. Anyone have thoughts, need a new MAF, clean the MAF from excess oil from the the cleaned filter, REVI now running me a little lean naturally and deal with it? Quick search didn't pull up anything really helpful.
