"chips" don't work on the rx8. You need to reprogram the ecu entirely or go standalone like a microtech. Some good search terms to visit are "accessport" "interceptorx", also look for the racing beat reflash service, or read up in the engine management forum https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-engine-tuning-forum-63/
