Hi guys!!

Iv just picked up my lovely black 231 rx8 and i love it!
only problem is some dick has already smashed off my wing mirror on one of the moor roads, always happening in all fairness!

The issue is I cut the wires to the mirrir so it was not hanging off and scratching the paint till i got home but as soon as i snipped them the alarm went off and it wont stop no matter what i do, iv wired the mirror back up and it still goes off plus the remote central locking has packed in and also my centre consol has stopped working, no radio!!!

Iv disconected the batt over night to re set the ecu but it has made no difference..........

Interesting...
When you cut the wire, you probably blew a fuse.
First thing I would do is check the ACC fuse, not the main 30A one, but the 7.5A in the fuse panel inside the car.
That is tied into the audio system and the power controlled mirrors. Pull it out and see if its blown.
Doesn't explain the alarm issue.... but lets start at that ACC fuse.

There is a small fuse box in the footwell, driver side US, maybe passenger UK?

Look for the fuse marked 'room'.

Bad move. The Car now thinks your trying to jack it and has locked. Time to see the dealer.

I hope thats not the case!!
Il have a look at the fuse inside the car, fingers crossed its just a blown fuse although its just my luck for it to be something reallly serious!
