Car stalled after drift

Hey guys...let me just say I'm not a pro drifter, nor do I try to be. I just like to have fun. I was driving tonight and figured hey, its raining out so why not try to drift the 8 around this corner. I ripped the e-brake, hit the throttle and I kind of lost control so I spun out (noob! haha). I noticed after I did my 360, the car stalled.

WHy did this happen?

lol thanks for the honest answer....i wonder what caused the stall though. I'm thinking it's because when I did the 360, the car went in reverse a little

Often the ESS gets confused...and the ECU shuts the car off to protect the motor...it doesn't like seeing the E shaft rotating the wrong way

Why does that not make sense??? Its not like you can Power over on a RX-8 with ~150 Ft-lbs. of torque...

Maybe not a moron for trying to have a little fun, but definitely for starting this thread. Why did it stall? Common-******-sense.
