car goes WOoWOoWOo (whistle kind of) when cold and coasting in neutral
title pretty much says it all.
it sounds weird.
it may be related to my idle issues, i dont know. any thoughts? it appears to be coming from the engine bay.
my car has been acting odd lately... i think it may be time for a dealership visit.

Does it sound like a wind noise? Like a low whistle?
That's the sound mine makes when it's cold out. It doesn't seem to matter whether I have it in gear or not, but it happens mostly when I'm coasting and goes away as soon as I apply the brakes.

cold tranny fluid? what fluid are you running?
I notice with my redline shockproof heavy that cold winter days cause it to whistle until the trans fluid gets up to temp.
