I have read all kinds of posts regarding oil: which kind, 5-20, 5-30, North American, Australia, synthetic, no synthetic, etc...

So.....based on your experiences, what oil ( Brand, weight, synethic/non-synthetic) would you recommend?

 

My tech in Olympia uses 5W20 Motorcraft - what else. Actually Wayne is an excellent rotary mechanic, and I trust what he says.

 

5w20 Valvoline. I think its funny/ironic to use Valvoline in an engine w/o valves

 

I also use Valvoline 5w20

 

I use Castrol GTX 5w20- nectar of the Gods!

 

yes, there are valves, but no, not poppet valves. the tertiary port is controlled by an electircally actuated rotating (rotary) sleeve.

 

Quaker State 5W-20 Synthetic

 

Castrol GTX 5W-20.

 

Quaker State 5W-30

 

5W-20 Penzoil, Castrol, or Valvoline.
