Exclamation Bumpy Ride????

Hello! I just purchased my 2004 RX8 almost a month now and I've been really looking forward to buying it for well over a year now so needless to say I'm really excited to have it! So far I'm happy with everything except for one thing. I noticed that when I'm on neutral and not going very fast, it is very bumpy. As if there is a branch stuck in the wheel or something. And when I'm in gear it gets bumpy again when I'm coasting. Does anyone know what this could be and what I could do to get it fixed? I'm very excited to have people join me in my new car and love going for drives but sometimes I'm even a little embarrassed at how bumpy it really is, especially when I'm not going very fast. I initially thought that the problem was the tire pressure and therefore brought the tire pressure to the proper amount and it is still pretty bumpy. Please help!

If your issue has to do with drivetrain load, perhaps an engine or transmission mount needs to be replaced?

This is a very common problem with RX8s that come in (i work at mazda). This is due to little bumps on your tires. Because the rx8 comes with such low profile tires, over time they wear out and get un even bumps which lets to a bumpy ride. Its time for you to change ur tires.

Man I would hate for it to be the motor mount issue. That would require removing the motor right? Ugh Rotary-RX8 i surely hope you're right! Although I'm sure you are since you work at Mazda but no worries I value both posts equally. Thank you so much guys, you are awesome! I love my RX8!! :-D
