I am just looking for a starter to get me to north carolina from washington state. after i am there and can get more money i would have no problme buying the high end starter but as for now i just need one that will hold me off untill then.

I really wouldn't suggest getting a 'cheap' starter as our car needs quite a bit of cranking power unless you want to worry about flooding.
another option is to talk to Mazmart (they're a forum vendor here)
Mazmart sells used parts off totalled cars and they have helped a lot of members out.

good stuff.
the starter should be fairly easy to swap out once it arrives. There's probably even a DIY on it somewhere
