well...there are some big brake kits out there for the rx8, that increase rotor size and up the caliper to 6 pot, but there is also debate as to whether or not these kits actually make any difference at all.
SS brake lines will increase pedal feel, and there are racing pads, but those those aren't recommended for daily street driving because they are much more abrasive and will wear the rotor out much faster. Also, in street driving, the brakes would never get up to optimal temperture for racing pads, which could actually cause them to perform worse than stock.
from what i've heard is the best thing for the rx8 brakes is moving to a different rotor, that will increase its ability to disipate heat, such as a cross drilled or slotted, but those benifits would really only manifest on the track.
the rx8 stock has an incredibly brake system stock, and as such is difficult to make improvements on. if you want to do some thing, go with ss brake lines, paint the calipers, and spend rest of the money else where. that's my $0.02.

I think the rx8 stock brake arent that great when it come to high speed breaking.60-0 is exellent but when it come to braking 115+ they could use some help. They gave me a pretty good scar when braking after trying top it out.Would one of these kits help or are they ne other mods that ne one knows about

RacingBrake's RX-8 BBK knocks 24# off the front suspension over the OE brakes so it's not just a matter of stopping distance, there are other gains to be had like more even pad wear (longer pad life), high temperature endurance, modulation control at the limit of cornering adhesion, etc.
6-pot calipers are only beneficial for full out racing applications where the larger pad needs to last for as long as possible before needing to be replaced

if its for show go with the endless calipers they are absolutely gorgeous. you can see pictures on some threads here of a blue one from autornd. they fit both stock wheels and rotors i believe.

Endless USA said they need a 5mm spacer for the stock wheel but Hong Kong counterpart says they don't.
Endless caliper can come in a kit. Their rotor is good.
You need a racing set and a street set for Endless - they don't have good range for middle street/track.
Seidoya Makes good pads in Japan.
I went for AP racing caliper - they are not pricey AUD$2500 for the whole kit without rotor. I am getting Project Mu rotor and pads to suit them.

But it sounds like you need new tires.

I just picked up the racing brake 1 piece slotted rotors (cash flow problems this season ). First track day is May 30th. First couple of stops were scary, but after I bedded them, jumping jahosephat batman, great stopping power. I'm anxious to see the performance with my Carbotechs.

fwiw RacingBrake only recommends Hawk pads for their rotors
most of those kits are overpriced/overrated, RacingBrake is a damn good choice for the money, I pity the fool that thinks they need to spend 2x+ more for Project Mu etc.

I've heard that as well. I'm reluctant to change because I'm used to the Carbotechs and love them on the track. They did, however, cook the set of rotors I had last year in 2 consecutive track days (adreneline racing rotors).

I am using Rotora cross-drilled rotors with Project Mu Titan pads for the track and stock pads for the street. The general idea is to upgrade the rotor with stock temp pads or upgrade the pads with stock rotor. To do both is a bit of overkill for the street and they don't get to optimum temps, as was stated earlier. Squealing like a pig and don't do much until they are hot.
