Can anyone recommend me decent Brake and Differential fluid, and Coolant?
My 8 is 04 made 6 speed, and it's already snowing here.
Ah! How many quarts or gallons do I need for each of the when I flush those fluids?

If you did "searched" the forums I don't think you'd be posting this thread though?

ATE Super Blue brake fluid.
Redline 75w90 Gear Oil
Search for the capacity I'm not going to make it that easy for you...

Since I'm in a good mood I'll help u out. haha

ATE Superblue brake fluid (dot4),
redline 75W90 (differential) - you'll need 2 quarts.
Prestone, or anything green for the coolant since 04's didn't come with the long life fluid.

Your owner's manual shows the capacities for each....

Thanks for the info. How many quarts do I need for the brake fluid "flush"? and for the coolant, just a gallon for flushing would be enough?

The "Owner's manual" does not state a typical "brand" or "recommendation" for the fluids, although I will admit that they do state what "kind" or "how much" would I need for each of them. Sorry

The best coolant IMO is Zerex which is pink. It's made for Japanese cars with high amounts of aluminum in the coolant system which is exactly what we have.

Coolants are mostly the same. Either eg or pg based, mostly eg.

All coolants are clear at the plant, the color is just a dye. So people can see it and oem can tell if the car has oe fluid or not.

Just get pre stone and do a complete flush, u will be good for couple of years. Remember don't use 100%, use 50/50 and don't buy anything that saids dex kill on the bottle ... Oh I mean dex cool, it's some garbage created by gm that even gm don't use it anymore cuz it's complete garbage.

For the record, most of the so called oem long life coolant is just 55/45 mix. Which suck *** to being with
