It's the "heat sink" looking thingy under the air pump bracket

You can't miss it

I pulled my air pump and the fuel pump resistor pack stayed to the chassis

LOL Jorge, I've been busy working on my car and fixing up my garage putting more lights in and stuff, so I haven't been around on the forums too much

OK, we have pulled the motor out, cleaned it with a pressure washer, put it on an engine stand, and pulled it apart.
my worst fear is true. it is an apex seal on the rear rotor that gave. A tiny piece of it broke off, and just murdered the housing. as soon as we find out, we dropped the tools and went to the pool. there is nothing we can do at this point but wait till Monday, so I can buy a new housing.

Tomorrow CRH and I will clean the rotors, the rear rotor has some damage on it too, bit we'll fix that (it is not irreparable), fit the seals, assemble everything to the point of the last housing, and then just chill until the housing is here.

Here are the pics:

Ha----Nope! Good guess though. Dang Pilot(new) so tight. I torqued it in with longer trans bolts a little at the time--finally! Now hope I have the PPF adjusted right--measures out find. Got to adjust the clutch soon.

Vlad, congrats on the rebuild, sorry to hear you had apex and rotor damage man. I really wouldnt have expected that from how it sounded.

Im gunna have to make a trip up there once the engine is all rebuilt and the turbo is fitted again. Ive got a new job, so I may be ordering my parts sooner than expected.

Hope all else goes well with the build guys. Hope to see you soon Vlad.

that's easy. smash the other side of the fender a bit.

it might not look good, but you can claim it's for aerodynamics, like a golf ball is dimpled.
