Assistance with removing an interior trim piece
Anyone have any words of wisdom on how to remove the highlighted interior trim piece. It's right between the rear seats and the rear door.
Thanks in advance

You have to lift off the seat (pull up carefully and open the plastic fastener holding the 2 metal loops in the top back part) and then just pull it off. Some light plastic clips and the seat are all that hold it in.

Genom,
Thanks for the help. Foudn that you pull the rear seat bottom right up from the two fasteners with little effort. This then exposes two bolts holding the rear seat back. Loosen these and then the seat back can be raised off to more clips near the top. Then it can be lifted out.
Of course then you can remove this trim piece.
Thanks so much.

In case you didn't see it, you were obviously correct.

I PM'd you the following info.
From memory and a reply to a post just today, I believe all you do with the bottom cushion (the part you sit on) is pull up where your knees bend over it (front). This releases two metal clips easily. Then I think you can pull that portion out. Once removed, I believe you will see two bolts at the bottom of the seat back. Remove these. Then slide the seat back up with little effort. Then it comes out once you slide the seat belt though the slit in the “guide” attached to the seat.
Hope that helps.
