Anybody make-up plug wires

Well just like I asked has anyone made up their own plug wires. i have a bunch of Accel hi-temp wire and some ends. is there anything special about them?

I have having a hard time trying to locate a set local and some places just don't show a listing!

Thanks wro87

Just invest in a good hand-crimping/cutting tool that'll cover the diameter of the cables you want/need to use, and you're good to go. Also, use lots of silicone spray lubricant to make it easier to slip the sparkplug boots over the cable ends!

As far as the Accel hi-temp cables being special, I had a set of wicked-looking yellow ones once

Well wires where EASY!!! Used a set of MSD street wire my daughter picked up at the nearest O'Riellys. Have put on the coils(about a 15min job), put in the new plugs and made up the wires over all between all the bull sessions and the visitors it was probally a total of 2hours. Found the front brakes bad and will put the new ones on tomorrow.

The wire where replaced one at a time and they have stright on boots and went on and together with no problem. Just have LOTS of wire left over for some extra sets when I get some more plug boots.

Thanks wro87
