any way to visually tell if airbag recall has been done?

if an airbag has been removed from car (like listed on ebay) and you don't know the donor car's VIN, is there any way to tell if the inflator recall was performed on it? like does the replaced inflator look different than the original one or do they put a sticker on it to say the recall was done? I'm talking specifically about S1 right (US passenger) side airbag. thanks

The dealer put a little yellow sticker on the underside of the hood to show it's done on my car. Try looking for that.

Call MazdaUSA with your VIN too. They still send me notices about every 3 months.
