Hey guys. I am filling out forms for auto insurance quotes and I am not sure about what anti-theft devices are standard on the '04 RX8. The choices are:

1. Steering Lock or Alarm
2. Active Disabling
3. Passive Disabling or Etched Glass
4. Vehicle Recovery System
5. Combination of 3 and 4.


I know we have #1, but I'm also sure there is some sort of disabling on the car - though I'm not sure of the difference between active and passive, though I have an idea.

 

Unless you could present a Certificate for LoJack, I don't think the '04 had Active Disabling. Besides OnStar, I could only think of the one BMW and M-Benz uses. I'm not sure if the Series II RX-8s has it.
