im a noob, can anyone tell me more details on cold start....
i have used the search button and seen threads about, the cat issues, misfire, etc. not what i was looking for.
anyways, today before going to school, i turned the 8 on and it started acting funny.
it started to shake really bad, cel flashing and a funny smell in the exhaust, like oil burning....i let it warm up to operating temp and tried to drive it and it almost stalled...so i just shut it off.
is this a typical problem or should i pretty much take it to the dealer, before fooling with it? any suggestions?

That's not in any way normal or typical. Could be any number of things, so you will need to have it looked at by a tech. Have the dealer check it out before your warranty runs out.
