Airbag light
Can anyone tell me what it means when my air bag light flashes 4 times, then pauses, then flashes 2 more times before going solid on?
I've read about others having this problem and using the error codes from the light to located the source.
and ideas?

See the attached list of the possible causes for a constantly-lit air bag light. All you can do is take it in to a dealer for diagnostics and repair. There are 4 pages of diagnostic procedures that the tech will need to consider when trying to find the problem. The air bag system is not something to mess around with since you may need it to work at any time, you might accidently activate it trying to find the problem, or you may do something to the system that would void the warranty.

My airbag light went on during my Montreal trip this week.
The light would flash after the usual start up test.
Since I'd been moving the passenger seat around a lot and since the mat behind the passenger seat was shoved up into the harness under the seat it made sense to me to check the connections and harness under the seat.
With the ignition off I pulled out the mat and re-seated the connectors. Next start the airbag light stayed off.
