Thank you, had actually found that prior to posting, but I was hoping for more samples.

If that is the actual problem is there any harm in unplugging it as opposed to completely "deleting" it?

Fairly certain you will just get a code. There may be an impact on the life of your cat.

If you dont have a cat then might as well remove the pump, tube, and cap the solenoid.

Fully stock exhaust, so the cat is still there.

Roughly, what kind of impact on the life of the cat are we talking here? And how do you know when the cat has failed?

You will know. The car runs like **** and the cat will glow red hot after a little drive.

Dumb question and I should avoid bumping, but is this going to throw a DTC that would prevent me from passing? I’m decatted and I have no code for the cat, and my air pump is noisy and bulky, plus I want to remove it to add a catch can. If I do this, will it give me a DTC? And, hypothetically, if it will, again hypothetically, where would I go for software to remove said DTC?

depends on the state you're in. some allow for a couple failures so long as your CEL is not illuminated. Since you're "In space" its hard to say what the requirements are for your jurisdiction.
