Imagine that;

nice body, like furai

3seated like mclaren f1

a motor same as above or 4rotor made from titanium-magnisium alloy
compression 14-15:1 (maybe turbocharged!!!) using biofuel
red line screaming at 15000rpm (easy for a rotary made from those materials)
RWD or 80-20 R-F
flippad 7spd gearbox

top speed 260+ mph

0-60 about 2.5

I WANT IT (like i'll ever gona have it )

dream is over...

Really IS there ANY way to change the compression of a rotary?

Yes, if you can make your own rotors.

"the Furai is sports car concept based on an American Le Mans Series (ALMS) racing car. The car utilizes the Courage C65 chassis the company campaigned in the ALMS series two seasons ago, and it is equipped with a 450 HP three-rotor rotary engine that runs on E100 Ethanol"

http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2007/12...r-detroit.html

So mazda DID made new rotors for higher compression... hmmm.. intresting...
And only for furai?...

Thank you yushinrt !

I 'll probably go for it, but i have something else in mind (and papers) for now...

TIME and money (that can be solved) are my drawbacks for now.

ROTARY IS THE BEST!

Does anyone knows the efficiency of a rotary engine compared to a piston eng.?

nicer followup though ... and thank you Loki, my itching fingers were dying all day long keeping from responding to that reply. 🤣

and to answer the question; anything is possible, how much are you willing to pay for a questionable result?
