2 gear problem

My 2 gear got problem

I cannot up shift to 2gear from 1gear when the rpm is over 4000
down gear 3 to 2 also got problem
if i shift hardly, the sound like metal slipping "key"~~~~

Now I only can up gear under 4000 rpm and never down gear 3 to 2.

Anyone know how can i solve this problem in the lower cost. I heard someone talk about change the gear syno....... ring can improve....is it work?

If I repair the 2 gear, what parts i need to prepare and order?

My car already not in warrenty.

I already change the fluid 2 months ago, it is oberon 808 75w90, it is much better then before. Before I use redline 75w90, the problem go more serious.

Do u think 90w120 can solve the problem?

it dosent really sound like a slave cylinder problem but moreso a synchro related symptom. And it is known for 2nd gear to wear from hard launches. If the fluid doesn't help (it doesn't look optimistic) you will probably get the best results by taking the trans to a pro. With the exception that you've opened up one of these transmissions and have the proper tools. These trans are not the best quality. Here is a link to the manufacturers website for really vague information: http://www.aisin.com/product/automot...etrain/mt.html

Good luck and don't forget to update us

Yes, what swoope said.

From what I understand, Aisin manufactures the AY6 transmission and has manufactured them in China or HK for years. There my friend is a much easier task for you than for I.

Your first call should be to:
TANGSHAN AISIN GEAR CO., LTD.
http://www.aisin.com/global/asia/asia_ch_25.html
probably long shot but:
AISIN AI (THAILAND) CO., LTD.
