So I have been reading a lot of threads about turbos and have been doing outside research on basic turbo installation and how they work. But I haven't found to much information on everything I need surrounding a turbo in terms of other engine parts that must be added/replaced/removed etc. What exactly goes into adding a turbo in terms of parts needed and the types of engine work I need to do? I probably sound a little naiive and I'm sure that I might get the response, "Don't put one in if you have no idea how it works" etc, but I am trying to start somewhere, thanks!

Just search "turbo" in the DIY and you'll find plenty of threads

i think the better question is how many rx8s on the forum are running turbos and post about them, and why didnt you search for the hundreds of posts by these very people
