Suggestions
I'm looking tp try to squeeze a few extra miles out of every gallon of over-priced gasoline I put into my car. And from reading a few posts the boards and talking to a few members at the Tail of the Dragon 2005 meet ( :D which I was the only automatic representing there this year :D ) , I'm think exaust and intake will be the better first step to take. Any suggestion obn type of exaust to get? I don't want one the will make ear drums bleed and something fairly easy to install, maybe even a self install option. The intake I want to go for is the Racing Beat intake with the cold air ram add on. I saw one on a MT and it was a very clean look to it and he did claim a few extra city mpg on his.

Try Racing Beat REVi and Cold Air Duct
I installed both Racing Beat's REVi intake and their cold air duct 3 weeks ago. Charlie at Mazcare in Atlanta did the install. I haven't had a chance to check the mileage as I was rear ended and the car is in th eshop.
However, I really enoy the combination of a slight mid range performance boost and the sound (only noticeable when accelerating). I'm also adding the Racing Beat exhaust. I'll post in a coupole of weeks when I get my car back!
