I am a bit confused, the kit cost like 8k, then tune up and installation fees. You can almost get a used FD for that.

i heard that the 8k includes the int-x...so technically if you already have the int-x, the actual kit itself costs something like $6500...

Yeah. Go by a running FD for 8k.

Well, he was suggesting that he could go buy an FD for the price of a MazSport turbo kit.
One would presume that if one were to buy said MazSport turbo that one would install it on a running RX-8.
Therefore, it would be a reasonable comparison only if the said FD were in equally operable condition to the aforementioned RX-8.
