Extra Horsepower?
hey Jonathan: this question gets asked all the time so a quick Search would have given you the answer.
The short version: There isn't much more horsepower to be squeezed out of the Renisis engine in N/A form.
If you're looking to stay N/A, I would look into an Intake, exhaust, and either a high flow cat or midpipe.
Disclaimer: do not expect 40 hp out of that like some piston engines; you might pick up 10+ nothing substantial that you'll feel the difference when driving.
The best 'bang for the buck' is Nitrous but it's up to you whether you want to go that route. If you do, search and you'll find some great threads by Charles R. Hill
Other then that, you could drop a supercharger or a Turbo in there but now we're talking MUCH more money... ($6,000 - $10,000)

Wow, you guys make an auto guy feel really good here. LOL. I used to browse a lot of the other Performance and Modification forums, but the AT forum is where I need to be ! To obad my car is still slow. (compared to my past relationships - modded STi, and FD3S's)
You had an STi? What made you want to buy the A/T over the M/T?
The only way to make your AT faster would to go FI and make the car even lighter. Though my experience the int-x added 20rwhp for me. I just installed mazsports ignition solution and throttle reponse is better and a few extra ponies
