Just on a personal view. Seems like I've lost a little power down low. But above the 5750 mark it seems to pick up like it never has before.

I noticed the same thing when I first put mine on.

fd3s777 04-12-2008 06:58 AM

will AP work on my 4 port AT greddy turbo (old version)?

09Factor 04-12-2008 09:05 AM

yes. But IDK if MM has a 3 port tune yet.. he will the 21st though. Are you still running 480's all the way around?

ЯX-8 04-12-2008 10:00 AM

I think, Phil got me and AJ conviced about getting the COBB. But, it might be a little while for me as I'm almost done fixing my car and have a couple of custom things to get done first. Jeff, how long do you plan on selling them for? Is there a certain amount of time and limit as to how many you will sell?

Negative Ghost Rider.
Phil's S/C'd AT will be at the dyno meet
1 New gen AT will be there
Where'd you get a turbo'd A/T :scratchhe
As far as I know Easy is not coming out to Cali since he's got Jeff so close. (although he's always welcome)

Thanks Ray! :smoker:

no but seriously - RP supercat is close if not equal in it's effectiveness to many mid pipes (depending one where you get it).

The only thing you have to keep in mind is the supercat won't give you a CEL. The mid pipe will.

If your using the AP even a mid pipe will not give a cel.

ЯX-8 04-13-2008 02:14 PM

AP makes everything magically disappear, huh?! :)

Phil's 8 04-13-2008 02:19 PM

Well, with a little help from Jeff

ЯX-8 04-13-2008 02:24 PM

They should make clones of Jeff, so everyone has one in every state!

MazdaManiac 04-13-2008 06:48 PM

There have been some bugs with the CEL masking on the AccessPORT, so some people may experience a CEL once and a while until a new update comes out.
Ultimately, they will all go away for good.
Even the dumb ones like the loose gas cap and the random misfire.

How many maps you have for automatic?

I have HKS ignition amp, Nology wires, Optima yellow top, MS intake & exhaust.

what are the options for the maps if I am going to buy the product?

Like I said b4, I will have a turbo soon....so do you have that as well?

Any details on the map and dyno for the NA as well as the FI turbo?

Thanks, I am very interested.

invasion08 04-13-2008 07:01 PM

R888, I would get rid of your nology wires. When i had my car dyno'd with the nology wires i was having ignition problems at higher rpms, which i saw on the dyno. The next day on the dyno i changed my wires to Mazsports wires and the problem was gone.

R888 04-13-2008 07:04 PM

Thanks for the advice, my HKS amp push it up to start every single time...I don't have any problems so far but I didn't dyno as well...

I will try to see if the Mazsports wires are good. Just got the cooling fan unit from them..

There are a few areas of concern that need addressing but some of the concerns may be of a mechanical nature and over the next couple of weeks I will be looking into them. Jeff will also be asking Cobb for some additional releases of tuning areas that were not yet open to him and seem to be needed on my a/t.

I want to be sure to point out that Jeff went the extra mile with me so that I understood exactly what was happening and why. He also went thru the process of passing me new tunes.

OK I have replaced the s/c bypass valve with what Ray and I are hoping is an improved/upgrade to the original valve. Some of Jeff's concern seems to have disappeared and now should just be a tuning problem. Hopefully he will have a little extra time while we are both in CA for him to check it out. If not, the Vegas group is having it's dyno day the 24th of May and we can work on it then. I want to thank Ray for going the extra mile and researching the bypass valve and finding a upgraded valve. Hopefully we will take some pictures soon.

So MM, 09factor and I are going to do some dyno time this coming Monday the 21st. 09Factor has a turbo on his 04 AT. So this should be interesting. I have replaced my cat with a straight pipe so this should also be interesting to see any HP differences due to this change. Maybe I can find my missing HP.
Stay tuned.

+1. I saw the exact same thing.... $140 for uneven wires... :banghead:
I did see a lower rpm improvement.

Did you want to do lunch with us monday?

Jedi54 04-18-2008 10:19 AM

Easy: still haven't found your missing HP?! Hmmm.... maybe it's hanging out with Hoffa. Good luck finding it. ;)

Phil's 8 04-18-2008 10:45 AM

Eric, if the mid pipe does not locate your missing HP then I may be convinced that it may be due to a lack of flexability in the right foot.

Hope to find it Monday. Since I put the mid pipe on it's got more on the top end. Now the botttom end seems to be less. I think it just moved from one end to the other on the graph
