well, all the older turbo motors were 4 port. i guess they don't need as much timing with forced induction.
if someone wants to try, i'm down for donating time and labor to see what happens.

there is a 5 speed manual available in other countries on the low power 4port RX-8. his question is has someone turbo'ed one of those yet. or has someone in the us swapped out the auto for a 4-5-6 speed manual in the states and done a turbo.
to my knowledge this hasnt been done.

Well--Re-Amemiya has the only turbo for the 4-port that I know of so far--it says it is for the A/T but I'm sure it would work with the 5spd manual 4-port as well.

Bummed, but bring on OU!
From appearance alone, the Re Amemiya kit for the 4 port looks identical to the Greddy kit(comes with 2 extra injectors, possibly to replace the secondaries?). Difficult to find any specifics though. When my warranty is up, if there are no kits tuned for the auto, I'll probably buy the Greddy 6MT kit and tune it myself.

from the dyno sheets i've seen, it looks like the 6 port motors aren't done making power with the primary and secondary ports when the aux. ports open. i say hog them out a little more and forget the aux. ports.
for motors of equal power, i'd rather get there at 7k instead of 8500

In all actuality if there are no decent kits for the 4-port when my warranty is up-I'll probably trade it for the SMG or 6spd 6-port--unless I go Porsche I think I'm gonna stay in the rotary fam for a while.

the way i see it, rotaries have the most untapped potential of any production motor.
i more than doubled the power of my fc, and it got better gas milage than stock (before the bridgeport). the emissions ***** didn't like me though
