now that taj is actually driving an MT, I'd say on average, AT owners are better than MT owners
this is because my stupidity out-ranks any accomplishments that Jeff, Mazdatrix, mazsport and any other Rotary developers in general have done in the past 40 years

Driving skill? Depends WHO is driving and not your transmission type. By the way, I know how to drive a stick. Including having drove RX-8 MTs....
Anyway, the true compromise is SEMI-AUTOMATIC. It would be great if Mazda just made 1 transmission type. Hindsight is 20-20, but that is what they should have done the 1st time around and what they should do next time.
AT or MT, just go have fun. That's the point.
