Jeff and I agree to disagree and do so without too much belittling. I respect Jeff and while I do have different desires from my ride we both want the best that is available for our 8s and can have fun doing it.
I wasn't blasting him about the auto thing - one can still do stupid things in an M/T.

Driving skill? Depends WHO is driving and not your transmission type. By the way, I know how to drive a stick. Including having drove RX-8 MTs....
Anyway, the true compromise is SEMI-AUTOMATIC. It would be great if Mazda just made 1 transmission type. Hindsight is 20-20, but that is what they should have done the 1st time around and what they should do next time.
AT or MT, just go have fun. That's the point.
