the motor came out of the car today. Patrick's going to take the motor apart tomorrow.

Sucks dude, such a nice build.

Gauges and alarms are so important on FI cars. I once had my oil return line come off at speed and had no oil pressure gauge. By the time I realized my engine was toast.

my Esmeril Apex seals and Pineapple Racing HD water seals came in last week. Patrick took some stuff to RotaryResurrection to get powdercoated. should have it back together this coming week. i might be able to pick it up next weekend.

oh yeah, it also turned out that the blown side seal did some damage on the way out. i needed a new rotor housing.

UPDATE:

i've had the car back for a while now. had some problems keeping it running. it idles perfectly but is running rich. it is still not driveable. i need to send my Cobb AP back to get fixed and then do some tuning. hopefully it will be fine after that.

i also have a couple other things i need to do:
repair melted gauge wiring
install boost gauge/controller
install washer fluid/2 stroke tanks

the problem is now i have moved away from my car and have no job to pay for any of this. i will keep everyone posted once any changes happen.

could be worse actually. found out my pulley does not wobble at all, which is something i was worried about.
