Zex Nitrous Dyno
The tuning is in the EMS, NOT the solenoids!!
I don't know what you are trying to do chickenwaffles, but I did say that the tuning is done with EMS
I am pretty sure that everyone knows that too, why do you keep posting the obvious?
what I meant by zex being hard to tune is completely a solenoid issue and nitrous flow rate + fuel flow rate, the ignition timing has to be done via EMS but there is more to nitrous than to just changing jets

Taj, go post your dyno sheets on the "new" FI dyno comparison thread above this thread. Will be interesting to show the evolution of nitrous tuning on the 8 that will be forthcoming. They give you any crap bout not being SC or TC just remind them what FI is.

I agree that the dyno should be in the F.I. thread. But Nitrous Oxide injection is not Forced Induction aka supercharging.
The difference is mostly semantic... They do the exact thing and most people would group nitrous together with the other forms of "forced" induction...
and I am done with posting my dyno on that thread, they don't seem to want to update their chart or anything, I will update the 1st post of this thread will newer nitrous dynos when they come, my next mod would be to do tuning with nitrous and possibly upping the shot to 75, I will have to talk with CRH about that though

But Nitrous Oxide injection is not "forced" into the chamber. The natural aspiration of the engine does this for you.
Supercharging, in the text book sense, is pressurizing atmosphere before entering the combustion chamber. It is literally creating an artificial atmosphere so that the engine ingests more than the standard.
Regardless, as stated before, I do think that a nitrous dyno should be placed in that thread. For that matter, I think a RB NA dyno and when we get it a Cobb NA dyno should be there also.

Why did you dyno in 3rd? Also your car made some pretty good power N/A if that dynojet was already SAE corrected. I wouldn't be surprised if the car could run a mid 13 @ 103-104 mph on spray.

yup, it was SAE corrected, why was I not supposed to dyno in 3rd? I heard it gives least #of whp, that would be good, so it means I can potentially make more power, besides, we use 3rd gear most often
ok, from what I have tried, you should not spray in 1st gear AT ALL!, its not that the motor can't handle it but it causes very high traction loss
second gear I spray at 3.5-4k no problem
3rd/4th/5th/6th I spray at 4k, all gears, I have no problem at all
5th gear and 6th gear are pretty useless if you want to spray at 4k though, I mean whats the point, you'll just end up with an empty bottle

, all that matters is that we can at least kick the NA people's *** at the moment
