Do Superchargers quiet the exhaust down like turbo systems do?

No. A turbo is an exhaust restriction. A supercharger isn't.

I'd think it'd even be a little louder. More air in = more air out. Kinda like turning up the volume on the radio :p

JDM knockoff... I don't think so.

Great job on your web site BTW... you must have spent a bit of time on it.

what RG said...

the turbo is in the exhaust track, cars typicaly get louder with a super charger.

I remeber on a friends miata, he had a CAI, RB header, highflow cat and exhaust....it was loud but not to bad.

Then he got the biger jackson racing superhcharger (from BRP i think) and bolted that on, and adapted the coldair intake to it.

Thing got 10 times louder with it, he had to swap the mufflers cause it was to loud.
