Just wondering now that im turbo ... How many other people on here have the greddy turbo and where you form and do you plan on atendding car shows . raceing or just for your enjoyment ??? If you plan to goto shows local or world wide ... just wondering

Got a turbo

Its cuz I was driving around a fully built GSX eclipse and a completely insane single turbo RX-7 - the 8 just didn't have the ***** for me.

I think with an exhaust and 12 lbs of boost I'll be satisfied.
Right now the turbo feels like it came from the factory this way - very smoothly integrated.

 

Hey Cretinx, how do you like your Kazera wheels? Do you have any more pics to post? I love the black wheel with machined lip look.

And yes, I love these wheels. This is my second pair. I have 18x8.5 on 245 fronts and 18x9.5 on 285s rear - on my RX-7 I had 18x8.5 on 235 fronts and 18x9.5 on 265 rears - still couldn't keep traction below 4th gear (GT3540R single turbo).

What bugs are you all getting?

Mine feels like it was factory installed - so smooth, so stock-like, very little lag, only 1 CEL, and that was on a cold cold day - now its gone. No heat issues, BETTER fuel mileage on the highway (way worse in the city though) . . . its pretty much perfect. I am SO happy with it.

I have a CEL but besides that min is pretty much perfecto to ... No complaints here

 

For $3000, anybody with an RX-8 would be retarded to spend money on other speed mods and NOT save for the GReddy turbo.

Mind if ask how much better? I am getting like 14/17 in my A/T, the oil light is also on intermittantly and i think i'm about due for a change, and who knows i may need new plugs too.
