i'm planning on getting a turbo kit for my rx8 pretty soon. any suggestions? i've thought about the GReddy one...but i've heard some bad things about it. i have a budget too...anything under $5,000

 

Then unless your very handy with access to shop tools you will spend more than $5,000 to even get a Greddy running right LINK
Extra power is not cheap on the RX-8.

 

Keep in mind, you would need more than just the turbo. EMS, gauges, BOV, tuning and install... a turbo on the 8 is NOT cheap. I seriously doubt you will get anything for under $5k.

 

well what im saying is 5000 for the turbo kit. all else i will need isnt part of the budget. this next couple months i have to purchase ALOT. after turbo...gonna need to get down pipe...straight pipe..intake..all of it. and i also would like some input on some real nice parts if anyone knows from experience. honestly...i havnt studied much into my car...sadly. i know more about evo's than rx8's =(
