I posted a couple jabs on his page when we were battling it out. My posts were promptly removed.

I know its apples and oranges, but Elliot was great to deal with while getting the adaptronic last year.....although he kept trying to get my custom made map because his didn't ever work, and not just speaking for myself...

At first Elliot was great to deal with for me as well, while I was in spend mode. He told me anything he thought would keep me appeased while ever continuing to delay his timeframe for delivery. He also kept trying to sell me on the adaptronic before he even delivered the turbo kit, saying people can't get over 300rwhp with the Cobb. Things broke down between us after I had my fill of lies, missed deadline after missed deadline and ultimately left with a pile of junk that he refused to fix.

By the way Elliot, if you want the leftover misc couplers and crap send me your FedEx account number. I'll make sure it gets back to you. But I'm really backed up right now, my jig car is inaccessible, my bandsaw broke, my parts order went to the wrong address, my dog died, and I've got tons of orders piled up, so it's probably going to be 12-18 weeks before I can get to it. What other excuses did I miss??? While you wait can I interest you in buying something else? If you don't claim it in a week its going in the trash, I am tired of storing it for you. I'm going to start charging you a storage fee. Oh, but you need to sign these forms first stating that you are in fact a turbodouchebag.

Oh, and I still haven't figured this one out...

Yeah Elliot is full ****. He is talented to some degree (if he does in fact to all the fab work himself, which I heard he does not) but still a dishonest and crooked human being.

In terms of fab work I would say so. I don't recall ever seeing any fab work done by Scott that was shoddy.

if you try to squeeze 10 pounds of BS in a 5 lb box of customers things can go wrong quick

He hasn't gone home to check it yet. It may possibly be a rebuild kit for the Synapse waste-gate that was destroyed in shipping. If it is then it's BS because it was insured and should have been replaced with a new one. But knowing Elliot he probably got the money for a new from Fed Ex and then is sending Hoss a rebuild kit to repair the damaged one. That is my guess anyway.

it was clear the unit was dropped onto the cement. It ended up not being a head or a bomb.

I was correct in my guess. Not sure about the timing or why it was decided to be sent out now.

the head of the wast-gate did not change in the later revisions of the unit so not worried there.

I wish you were more local as well. 9krpmrx8 and I have tons of ideas for stuff. I think you will like what i have in store in the next few weeks. Keep an eye on this thread.

Happy Anniversary turblowhard!

Just a post to keep this thread alive in the internet search engines. It was one year ago today that I put down my initial deposit for your joke of a product. But I have to thank you for failing and not fixing things so I could get my money back and put together something nice and functional! In a month and a half, and for half the money I originally spent with you, I have my own turbo system that I have pieced together. Guess what, it fits and it doesn't look like a metal dog took a dump! It actually looks very nice and clean compared to that garage art you "fabbed" up and oh yeah, let me mention again, IT FITS!!! and I can keep the under brace.

Much thanks to FazdaRX_8 for all your recommendations and inspiration! You are a great guy! I am still in awe that you completely built your setup from scratch!

I've still got some work to do, and I'm not claiming success yet, but not bad for a guy in over his head, eh? If I can do this in half the time for half the cost, yet still have problems installing the turbroke kit, I think it says something. Just sayin'...

When I have some time I might start a thread but some details in the meantime: I found a brand new PTP kit minus the turbo, bov and wg on eBay for $1100. I've gone over tdiddy's thread quite a bit and I realize the challenges with this kit. My goal is to rework the intake so the MAF is out front and move the bov to the last pipe before the TB and see if I can tune with the Cobb and get decent results. If I can't get it to work I'll look at other EMS options. But even still it will have cost less and if there's problems I am up to the challenge of dealing with them. It's not like I paid an "expert" to built this for me
