Who's closest to me that has the Inter X? Scott forgot to give back my serial port adapter and I can't tune the thing. I just realized it today. I'd come and borrow it and return it.
And then I'd owe you one. One of what I don't know??

Don't need USB. Also we tried a serial port switch and it didn't work.

Why did you add fuel to the rpmcrs map at higher revs? My understanding is that map is to pull fuel during cruise.

How is your starting with that tune? Water temp and crank maps look kinda rich.

First of all, you have to enable the rpmcrs map in the option screen, then set the cruising vac (mine at 14 In Hg), after that, every time the interceptor sees constant vac more than 14 In Hg for more than 5 seconds (that's what Scott told me), it will switch to the rpmcrs map. It is independenct of the load map or the idle/aux map. I found that when I am cruising on the freeway, my afr will show 13 for 4-6 seconds, and if i keep holding the gas pedal constant then the afr will jump to ~15.

My start is good, 95% of the time, I can start the engine within 2-3 seconds.

I don't think the injector duty cycle is at 100% at 3-4 psi, otherwise it would be more than 100% at above 4psi boost level. Are you refering to the 2 primarys or the other 4s? Scott should have the accurate injector duty cycle numbers.

Scott, could you please undate us what are the injector duty cycles at 4psi, 6psi, 8psi, and 10psi?

if you look at the load map being 8 ms at 6psi....you don't have 8ms at 8500 rpm. so there may be a correction factor that i'm overlooking or something.

can you do a datalog of a pull and screenshot the duty cycle?

In any of these tunning sessions, did anyone's AFR get silly rich at about 6200 RPMs? I just finally got a professional up from Texas (Steve Kann) to tune mine and that sudden richness was a little bit of an issue, as well as boost dropping off in the 7000+ range.
Scott, let me know if you're ever out in the midwest .

He was a helluva nice guy for being constantly in 105 deg. temperatures for 6+ hours! He definately lived up to his rep as a tuner!

Interesting, we had a heck of a time tuning it out, chart was showing serious power loss, but he got most of it. Still dips a little. How well did your boost hold?

is this the same kann that dropped by at sp engineering about a month ago?
Not sure, but it could be. He's pretty famous.

boost didn't hold after around 6-7k rpm, but don't quote me on it. let's just wait for the dyno result... anytime now!!!

if the boost is rolling off that bad up top, i bet there wouldn't be much hp difference between the aux ports open and closed.

Hey guys, I have been in contact with "Sam the dyno man" and he is having a network glitch. His guy should be in tomorrow and once the problem is resolved we can get the run files. He very busy so please resist the urge to call him and ask him, he has indicated it is on his list of thing to do. Sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience,Scott

You all know that I don't give up easy, but I give up on this thing. I'm not putting anymore time and energy into this. I just don't think it fits my needs. At least not with any elegance. I've given it way to much time and I can't say my car runs anywhere near how it should.

I'm going to find something else to market with my kit. Since there seems to be alot of people who are pleased with the Intercepter I have no problem selling mine. I'm sure it will make someone happy.

If anyone wants it contact me.
